We are delighted to announce the successful introduction of our music fingerprint system Streamify by SUISA, the cooperative society of authors and publishers of music in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, since January 2024. This groundbreaking partnership marks a significant step for both organisations and promises to enhance the capture of music played in Swiss clubs, thereby increasing revenues for music composers, lyricists and publishers.
Many Swiss clubs are already equipped with the Hitboxes (see box), which record the tracks played across various music genres. These tracks are then recognized by Streamify with an impressive accuracy rate of 95%.
SUISA, one of the largest music organizations in Switzerland, represents the rights of music creators and publishers. Under the terms of our agreement, SUISA will utilize our innovative Streamify fingerprint technology to monitor and recognize music played from sound carriers such as records or CDs in Swiss clubs.
Streamify enables precise and accurate identification of music content, which in turn helps to better exercise the rights of artists and publishers. This technology will be gradually deployed in Swiss clubs from January 2024 to ensure that musical works are fairly royalised.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to SUISA for their trust in us. We are confident that this partnership will yield positive results for both parties. Together, we will further strengthen and promote the music scene in Switzerland.
Thank you for your interest and stay tuned for further exciting developments.<
